Rise to Dust: Book 3 Title Reveal! What to Expect in the Epic Conclusion to the Series!

Today I am excited to share a few major updates with you all!

Firstly, I wanted to announce the title of the third and final book in my Rise to Dust trilogy.

Rise to Dust: The Will of Destruction

This is my favorite title and book in the series. I am aiming for this book to be the magnum opus of the first third of my life. In fact, to share a bit of my personal thoughts on this, I will say for myself, I expect to have three distinct eras to my life: childhood, adulthood, and senior life. The last few years I have explored the depths of myself, my own insecurities that have held me back in life, and as I have been transitioning into true adulthood, what it means to be a good man. Parts of my past have clung onto me and inspired many of my early life achievements. However, at my current age of 27 (I was 22 when book 1 was first published, and 19 when I started writing it) I feel that my childhood has come to a definitive close. This book is really an ode to all the most important things I learned from that time. It attempts to answer the largest questions the series has been building up to like: what is the meaning of life?, what is our purpose?, how do we overcome and face death?, and what is the most important thing we have in this life? I will soon be ready to share my answers to those questions.

Now I wanted to say that I actually wrote many of the major ideas and plot points for book 3 all the way back in 2016 and 2017, long before I had the ideas for book 1. I knew I wanted to write a trilogy, and I knew that it was not worth writing a series if I didn't have a definitive and important point I wanted to share with it. The first two books in the series set the stage for what is to come. Book 3 is the reason for the series, the purpose, the statement I want to make. As such I have not held back and will attempt to deliver the most epic, emotional, and philosophical work I have ever contemplated. It is no doubt the work I am the most proud of.

Now as for how far I am in the book... well I have made significant progress and my goal is to release the book sometime in 2017, ideally in the spring, but possibly in the late summer. I plan to be significantly more active on social media soon and will have lots of updates.

My second update is to announce I will soon release a public Rise to Dust discord channel where fans can connect and share their art and discuss their favorites parts of the series. I will post the links soon.

My book schedule can be found as well on my website. Before the year is over, the e-book for book 2 will come out. I have begun pre-production for my audiobooks and I am making live action promotional trailers. My team is currently doing costume design for them. I have been doing extensive textile research and practicing my sewing, metalwork, armor making and drawing. We expect over 100 unique outfits. My team is currently small but dedicated. I imagine that the trailers will be ready to show sometime after 2028.

For those who are sad the series will be coming to a close, worry not! The Rise to Dust trilogy is the main event point in my world that the stories all lead to. However, I have at least three distinctive prequels planned: firstly a prequel containing 1-2 books about the Great War of Androv, focusing on Amelia's birth mother Vonora, secondly a major trilogy about the mystery people who fell on the forgotten continent of Melstadur that the books hint to, and lastly a book that details the creation of the world and the history of the Archons. I will also add any small short stories and lots of lore to this book.
